These prints derive from high resolution scans of original acrylic paintings and drawings by Artist Claire Kiernan. Giclee box canvases arrive with fixings attached, ready to hang. Depth of canvas may vary slightly but are usually 38mm or more.
The printing process used is called ‘giclee printing’ - a printmaking method using an ink-jet printer for photographic images of paintings to produce high-quality reproductions. In the process, the ink is sprayed on to canvas in millions of colours utilizing continuous tone technology, retaining all the fine detail of the original.
